There are so many differences it isn't even funny. Caleb and Olivia BECAME Port Charles. In a half hour show, they ate the majority of the screen time. The entire cast was effected by the vampire storyline. John and Natalie share maybe a token scene every week with some weeks nothing.

John and Natalie have stunk up this show for 5 years. They're sharing token scenes together because TIIC finally realized they're not that popular, nobody wants to see them. ME can bring it with the right female actress and MA can't cut it. Caleb and Livvie were hot, great chemistry but they couldn't save Port Charles. Port Charles had a host of problems and it died. If ME were with someone he had chemistry with, like KM or REG this show would be doing a hell of lot better.

I agree jolies are a problem. Ratings didn't increase from the reunion, in fact, the show have done worse. Many other facts like Teens, bad writing, and boring show and boring writing has played a part. But, you have to look at who gets the promos and those promos aren't doing much to make people tune in and watch.

Oh the ratings blame game again, not a Jolie fan but the biggest problem with the show is the writing and on top of that all characters are responsible for ratings not just one or two. I think people put too much importance on promos, not everyone sees the promos, I don't unless it's posted here because I DVR and ff through all the commercials. The ratings have been up and down for weeks, so promos really aren't an indicator, for example there have been weeks where the WTD's storyline have been featured that ratings were up and other weeks when they were down, the same for other storylines promoted. Nothing at this point is going to improve them, IMO (not even the return of RH, if true). I think people who have left aren't coming back.

The guy is busy. I doubt he reads it on a daily basic like MA. Who seems to be more arrogant and thrive on attention from her fans. ME is not like that. The "what ifs" segment was also posted on his site, which tells me, that ME had something to do with the posting on his facebook page. I do believe the facebook page is mainly there to spread the information about his books to non-soap watching fans. But, it is interesting all of the comments from DIFFERENT Port Charles fans posted about Michael and Kelly's "what ifs". Usually the same posters post on his board. Mainly joilies. But, since he posted the new link, so many Liv and Caleb Fans have came out and made comments about how hot and great ME and KM were working together again. It just shows how far ME has fallen on OLTL being paired with the wrong actresses for the last five years on the show. ME can bring it with the right actress and that actress is KM. He was also pretty good working with REG, but I pick Liv/Caleb over John/Van.

And this belongs in a Natalie thread because?

This has become the Jyawn thread with a sprinkle of Natalie now and then.

John and Sam are to low energy, their scenes were boring to watch. Same with him and Van

ME needs a high energy actress to keep him on his toes, I thought GT would fit the bill if they wanted to go there but she doesn't. Perhaps Maxie and John? lol

OLTL's problem is not Jolie, but last month it was Easton, on 90 something percent of the episodes.

And he spent a whole episode looking at a map for crying out loud. ME is hot but John needs something better to do. I hope this baby thing does kick into high gear and we'll get to see John actually doing something useful for a change.

Reading the comments proves to me that the Liv/Caleb fans are more mentally stable. Nice to see so many fans enjoy ME work again. If only for a very short scene. It was worth it. He has been castrated with jolie. Good to see him work with an sexy actress he actually has chemistry with in KM.
